Introduction

This is a good quality, tamper resistant, ETL listed outlet that has both a USB-A and a USB-C connector that total output 5V 4.8A Max. The devices will charger quicker than other USB wall outlets that only deliver 1A. The charger is smart enough to detect how much current it can safely supply and based on the cable and device will ramp it up or down.

Installation is fairly standard. The outlet fit in a standard box. Just make sure you have enough room. Either push or wrap installation are supported. A decorator wall plate is included.

It is ideal as you can leave an extra cable in the room and don't need to move a charger. It works best with standard corded devices that don't block other outlets.

This does have a bright blue light that remains on at all times, so this may not be the ideal outlet for a bedroom where the light might disturb you at night. But for kids or grand old men,the LED indicator is required, to remind there's the AC socket and avoid unintended activation.
